Who we are

What we collect

When you book a table or send us a message, we receive what you type into the form: your name, phone number and email address, the date, time and number of guests for a booking, and any note or message you add.

We do not ask for payment details on this website.

How we use it

We use your details to look after your booking and to reply to you. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you booked or contacted us.

Who else handles it

A few services help us run this website. Some of them may process information outside Australia.

Cloudflare hosts the website and runs a security check on our forms, which looks at technical details about your browser to confirm that a person is using the form. Resend delivers the emails the forms send. Zoho hosts our email inbox.

The map on our Contact page comes from Google and loads when you reach it. If you message us on WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, or follow a link to those services, their own privacy policies apply.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may remember small settings on your own device, such as whether you paused the video on our Home page. A login cookie is used only by our staff in the private area of the website.

How long we keep it

Booking and contact emails stay in our inbox for as long as we need them to look after you and to meet our legal obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us what details we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete them, by emailing contact@trombar.com.au. If you are not happy with how we handled your request, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
